(IT-NEWSWIRE.COM, February 27, 2015 ) St. Louis, MO -- Shopping for multiple items in Amazon does have its conveniences. One can get things done in minutes and one does not even need to use up expensive gas just to get caught up in traffic. The ease of online shopping only keeps getting better. And unknown to some, multiple orders on Amazon amounting to over $35 actually qualifies one to get free shipping.

iGen Protech, makers of Waterproof Cases for iPhones, wants to make sure one is taking advantage of this Free Shipping Deal from Amazon.

How exactly does this work?

"The very first thing to consider is making sure the item being ordered from Amazon is eligible for free shipping. To know this, just check if the "Free Shipping" tag is listed on the item's product detail page," starts iGen Protech.

Then one can keep adding on items with the "Free Shipping" tag onto their cart until the total amount reaches the $35 mark.

Once the desired items with the "Free Shipping" tag have been picked, click on the "Proceed to Checkout" button.

"It is important to take note that all items chosen at checkout are all sent to a single U.S. address. The U.S. address should also be within the 48 contiguous states. Free shipping may not apply, even with the "Free Shipping" tag, to items being sent to Hawaii and Alaska," clarifies iGen Protech.

"Customers on Amazon tend to overlook this Free Shipping tag a lot. They order individual items on Amazon, separating them in the process. They hit the checkout button for each item and end up being billed separate shipping fees for each order," adds iGen Protech.

After entering the address, one just needs to select "Free Shipping" as their shipping speed. On the shipping preference, choose "Group my items into as few shipments as possible." Place the order and free shipping is all set.

Amazon’s Free Shipping formerly only applied to products fulfilled by Amazon themselves. A recent update just last month made the Amazon Free Shipping applicable to all items with the "Free Shipping" tag on the product detail page applicable to both items being fulfilled by Amazon or by the Seller himself.

"There are only two ways products can get to a customer, either Amazon sends the ordered items through their preferred carrier, or the manufacturer selling on Amazon sends it through his own. But with both media covered by Amazon's Free Shipping Expansion, the customer wins, either or," concludes iGen Protech.
