(IT-NEWSWIRE.COM, April 22, 2015 ) Fort Lauderdale, FL -- Michael Wild is proud to announce that he will be chairing the 211 Broward Making Real Connections Breakfast for the 2nd consecutive year. As the managing partner of WFP Law, Michael is a leader in his community, serving on the Board of Directors of Riverwalk Trust, Impact Broward, 211 Broward, and Senior Volunteer Services. He is also the founder and chairman of United Way of Broward County's Envision Broward.
2-1-1 Broward is a free, confidential hotline (reached by dialing 2-1-1) that members of the community can call in times of need or emergency. The organization provides callers with support and guidance, and offers them referrals to providers of health and human services. The purpose of the "Making Real Connections" Breakfast is to recognize 2-1-1 Broward partners and to honor local individuals and organizations that have provided 2-1-1 Broward with the support necessary to fulfill its goals. The honorees this year include: Forest Williams, President of EnVison Web Development; Brett Friedman, Partner at McGladrey and a 2-1-1 Board Member; Juliet Roulhac, Regional Manager of External Affairs at FPL; John Benz, President & CEO of South Florida Community Care Network; Lynne Wines, 2-1-1 Broward Member; Mark Gauert, Publisher and Editor of City & Shoe Magazine; Kathleen Cannon, President & CEO of United Way of Broward County; Signature Grand; and the City of Plantation.
Michael is honored to be on the Board of Directors of Broward 211 and is looking forward to chairing such a wonderful event. Michael states, "My main focus is to ensure that everyone is aware of 2-1-1 Broward. I encourage people going through tough times to reach out to these skilled counselors and use their assistance to help guide you to the right path."
The Breakfast will be taking place at Signature Grand on Thursday, May 7, 2015. Networking and buffet breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. Programming will begin at 8:30 a.m.
