(IT-NEWSWIRE.COM, July 01, 2015 ) Monroe, NJ -- In the early evening of Tuesday, June 23rd, residents all over southern New Jersey noticed a quick change in their weather. Soon after the skies turned black, rain storms and wind gusts - some as high as 85 MPH - began. The storm was over as quick as it arrived, but the same cannot be said for the destruction it caused. The National Weather Service identified this storm as a macroburst, which is similar to a tornado, but the wind gusts are in straight lines instead of spirals. The destruction came in the form of power outages and damaged property, which left southern New Jersey citizens without electricity for several days.
As people waited for their electricity to be restored, many relied on their electronics for entertainment, to communicate with others, receive updates from local power companies, etc. While people stayed entertained and informed, they found themselves with the same problem - not being able to recharge their electronics.
