JLM Security Products Announces Forthcoming Upgrades To MiniMag™ GPS Tracker Magnetic Case

(IT-NEWSWIRE.COM, July 13, 2015 ) Gulfport, MS -- JLM Security Products, a worldwide provider of innovative surveillance and security solutions, announces forthcoming upgrades to the MiniMag™ Waterproof GPS Tracker Magnetic Case. "Our customers talked and we listened." said Jeff Monson, owner of JLM Security Products, LLC.

"The product is already great, evident by the great reviews coming in on Amazon and other marketplaces." Jeff also said, "We are extremely excited about the upgrades to the product that are due to be implemented by August of 2015, which will make an already great product even better."

The original version of the product is, to the lay consumer, simply an ABS plastic box with a magnet attached to it. According to JLM Security, it's not the box itself that's important - it's the contents. Thus, it's the features that aren't apparent that are important.

The new upgrades include the entire shell of the case being manufactured using a much stronger ABS resin material that will help prevent damage in the event the product is dropped or mishandled.

The design of the latch and hinge assemblies were also slightly changed, making the case feel like it closes much tighter and more securely.

On the underside of the washer/screw assembly (where the magnet is mounted to the case), is 100% silicone sealant, making the magnet mounting hole leakproof. This will, in conjunction with the gasket that runs the entire perimeter of the lid, make the entire case truly waterproof.

Since the product, by design, is for covert use of GPS tracking devices on the underside of the car, the silver magnet housing will be coated with black epoxy, making it less detectable to visual inspection.

There is no change to the magnet, which is a third generation neodymium magnet that's rated to pull 100 lbs direct-force. According to JLM Security Products, they have received rave reviews on the magnet itself, so there's not a need to upgrade that part.

Consumers can obtain a MiniMag on the Monster Magnetics website, JLM Security Products website, and other marketplaces, such as Amazon, eBay, and Sears.
