(IT-NEWSWIRE.COM, August 19, 2015 ) Wilmington, Delaware -- The Pocket Chainsaw has served the company for a very long time mainly because it sold much more than any other product. Plus it was one of the first products by Stunning Gadgets which put the company ahead in the survival gadgets industry. However, now that the company is diversifying into other aspects of the tech industry there is a hint that Stunning Gadgets will have another flagship device soon. According to the company's own blog posts while the Pocket Chainsaw will get a much needed update it will not be the device the business is going to focus on starting in 2016.
Over the years many businesses tend to switch what is often referred to the flag bearing device. Often times the switch is owing to a change in market trends and consumer behavior. A live and current example is the changing flag ship devices by consumer electronics manufacturers. So, while change is always a good thing in the industry the fact remains that the flagship gets the most attention. But this does not necessarily mean that the Pocket Chainsaw as well as other gadgets may not get the company's attention.
"We are at that point in our business where we are doing many things and so we cannot be classified as just a survival gadgets manufacturer though that is still something we do. The Pocket Chainsaw has over the years sold more than any other product and it's still one of our best selling devices. But it does not define our business as it stands today. This is why there is a chance that we may put up another flagship device. This is something that is currently being considered but not decided yet. There are a couple of things that need to be figured out prior to the decision being made." said the CEO for Stunning Gadgets "We would love to have a gadget as our flagship that defines our business as it stands today. So, a switch may be eminent."
Stunning Gadgets has been pretty open about the direction being taken and especially steering away from just being a survival gadgets manufacturer in the emergency survival kits niche. However, just how well the new flagship will do is another question. It can take most businesses in the tech industry some time to fully get a flagship device to a larger audience and so that's something that the company may be considering long and hard.
