(IT-NEWSWIRE.COM, August 25, 2015 ) Portland, Oregon -- CamKix, a retailer of mobile photography and action camera accessories, is set to release a pocket-sized kit of five camera lenses for use with an array of mobile devices.
The product is an upgraded version of CamKix's best-selling camera lens kit. Building on the previous design, two additional lenses have been added to the original three, and all are now stored in a light and durable carrying case complete with a carabiner attachment.
Unlike many other mobile photography kits, CamKix's product is not limited to use with just one device. "The best thing about this camera lens system is the freedom it gives users." said Charlotte Linton, Marketing Manager for CamKix "One can use it with their own smartphone, tablet, or notebook, and can share it with their friends – even if they have a different device or phone model."
The lenses can be attached via a small clip into which can be screwed to the lens of desired choice. It is the clip system that allows the Camkix lenses to be used so freely, it will fit any gadget up to 4cm thick and with a camera lens up to 2cm away from the edge of the device.
The five lenses included in the set are a fisheye, a 2 in 1 macro and wide-angle, a CPL, and a 2x telephoto. "The newly added CPL and telephoto lenses will open up even more creative opportunities for mobile photographers." Said Michael de Bruijn, Head of Product Development at CamKix. "We've included a range of different lenses with qualities that lend themselves to different situations, so users can experiment by quickly swapping them in and out of the clip to get the best shot."
The kit will be available on the CamKix website and in the Amazon marketplace.
