(IT-NEWSWIRE.COM, August 31, 2015 ) Wilmington, Delaware -- Though finger print authentication was rumored to be flawed in the past, today's finger print readers are a lot more accurate and so there is no fooling them. Even top payment merchants like PayPal now make it easier for people to pay with just one swipe of a finger but near impossible for unauthorized people to pay. Stunning Gadgets has said that the app will ensure that only authorized people can make purchases, make changes to an account or view personal information. This may require that a person authorize a payment once again with a fingerprint even though a fingerprint may have been used to unlock the device.
The fingerprint verification according to the company is in addition to a password verification. The two step authentication will make it very difficult for hackers to get through or people with stolen cell phones to use the account. According to a technician working on the project both authentication methods will need to be passed prior to accessing the app. Failure would mean that the app would lock up. Though still currently being tested in the solar power charger niche, Stunning Gadgets has promised that it would work flawlessly once the program is in the final release version. However, many experts point out that things are not as easy as Stunning Gadgets may have it appear which is why publishing the app is taking long.
"We are working on making our app as secure as it possibly can. Though we are not saying it will be 100% bug free because no software can be that way, that is after all the nature of computers and software development. However, we not rushing through to develop a very important piece of software which we feel has to be the best out there. It has to be secure because people will be trusting the app with lots of personal information. So, even though we have been criticized about our two step authentication by many it is the best thing for us to do in order to make sure only authorized people can use the app and to nearly eliminate abuse." said the Chief Technical Officer for Stunning Gadgets "There are a couple of improvements that still need to be made but we are working to release the app as soon as we're happy with it."
