(IT-NEWSWIRE.COM, August 31, 2015 ) Gulfport, MS -- JLM Security Products, a worldwide provider of innovative surveillance and security solutions, announces the release of the upgraded Monster Magnetics GPS Tracker Magnetic Case and Stash Box. "We take every suggestion from our customers to heart, and the product has been improved based on this end-user input" said Jeff Monson, owner of JLM Security Products, LLC. Jeff also said, "who knows better what they need than the people that are using it?"
"The best part of this upgrade is that it will be seamless to the customer, as in, the cost will remain exactly the same. It did raise our costs, but we'd rather deliver a superior product at the same great price than raise the price" Jeff also said, "We are very excited about the upgrades to the GPS magnetic enclosure, and are sure our customers will be as well."
To the lay consumer, the product is a simple small coffin-lid box with a magnet attached to it. There are 2 pieces of removable polyurethane foam that can be used (or not) to help secure and hold tight whatever contents the end-user places inside. For GPS trackers, this keeps the device from rattling around inside the case, preventing damage to the device. The main purpose of the product is as a protective case and magnetic placement enclosure for live GPS tracking devices. It can be and is used for other things as well, such as hiding a spare set of keys, a secret money stash, jewelry, or other valuables.
The magnet is a neodymium "rare Earth" magnet, with a manufacturer pull rating of 100 pounds, according to the manufacturer specifications. The specs also state that neodymium is "the most magnetic material available commercially."
The latest upgrades include a high-heat silicone sealant around the mounting hole of the magnet assembly which, in conjunction with the gasket that runs the entire perimeter of the lid and the latch that secures the lid closed, render the product truly waterproof. Additionally, the steel housing that protects the magnet, or "magnet pot", as Jeff puts it, is not coated with a black epoxy material rather than leaving it bare steel. This not only helps prevent corrosion, but makes the magnet housing match the black color of the case, which can be important to end-users using the product in a covert manner. It simply makes it harder to see. To the touch, the magnetic case feels sturdy and closes tightly. The quality workmanship is quite evident.
Consumers can obtain the product on the JLM Security Products website, the Monster Magnetics website, and via the online marketplaces, such as Amazon, eBay, and Sears.
