That said many believe that the company has kept the patent vague enough just so that proprietary information does not get leaked out. The drawings show what many believe to be an electronic driver that looks like something out of Star Wars. Others believe the drawing and references are to a new type of electronic switch that works on the principle of electronic induction. But Stunning Gadgets has not said anything officially.
There are many businesses that take advantage of owning a large pool of patents. Most businesses will license the technology even to competitors which help businesses earn some extra bit of cash. However, Stunning Gadgets has not said if the company will consider licensing any of the patents awarded. That said businesses are always open to making offers. Even tech giants like Apple and Microsoft have licensed proprietary and patented technology to often rivals and smaller businesses. The extra revenue generated is then put into more research and development. So, the increasing number patents helps Stunning Gadgets in many ways to create the best gadgets.
"As any tech company we want to have a larger pool of patents from which to draw from. Plus having a patent means that nobody else can use technology that we have worked hard to develop. This is a big thing for us. Regarding the latest patent filing, I'm not at liberty to comment on it. However, if the patent office requires clarification we will clarify it but that may not be in the public domain. We are trying hard to ensure that our competitors do not learn much about upcoming tech until it has been patented and published. We think that our business will probably have over two dozen patents going into next year." said the technical lead for Stunning Gadgets "We are currently working on a number of different projects like the solar phone charger and people will soon be able to see exactly what all the secrecy was all about...consider it a goody bag!"
Stunning Gadgets blog has mentioned numerous non-survival gear being in the pipeline. However, exact specifics have not been mentioned. That said the company put out a teaser video of what looked to be several gadgets but with no description or visible detail of the products available. The video received over a hundred thousand hits in 24 hours mostly from social media shares.
