(IT-NEWSWIRE.COM, September 14, 2015 ) Wilmington, Delaware -- The company said that there were gadgets for which people could find it hard to buy replacement parts because those parts were custom designed for the gadget. Though the company has plans to sell replacement parts separately there is a current paucity in the market. That said any and all replacements like a battery replacement can be handled by the company within a year of purchasing a product. Plus Stunning Gadgets chief engineer has said that 99% of gadgets will not require replacement parts for the next two years unless those gadgets break and need to be repaired.
Online places like eBay are usually a thriving market place for third party replacement parts. But lately finding replacement batteries for Stunning Gadgets' 5000mAh Solar Battery charger has been difficult. Usually, the built-in lithium-ion battery lasts up to 24 months after which a replacement is unavoidable. However, there are instances where a battery can wear out in under a year, usually under heavy use. A worn out battery is not covered by Stunning Gadgets' lifetime warranty. So, the fact that people have to search for a replacement battery of the same size and capacity from often third party manufacturers is inevitable.
"We have received a few emails from people searching for replacement parts for a few of our gadgets. Though we acknowledge that replacement parts are not easy to find, the main reason for this is that we manufacture everything from the battery to the microchips only for our products. This is unlike other manufacturers that couple some of their tech with that from the open market. We understand the hurdle this creates but this is also the only way to ensure top quality products. However, we are working on ways to start selling replacement parts on eBay and even our own website in the survival gear niche especially. Though it may take some time for us to start putting out these parts." said the technical lead for Stunning Gadgets "We will try to make our replacement parts affordable and plentiful. People can expect to see replacements out by early 2016 in the military survival market."
Stunning Gadgets has been credited with having some of the best tech in the industry. However, there are complaints of replacement parts being hard to find. The company's own internal magazine has covered the issue but has not identified how the issue will be rectified if the current plant's capacity does not increase.
