(IT-NEWSWIRE.COM, October 14, 2015 ) Monterrey, Nuevo León -- As many people already know, the Monday after Black Friday is a day known as Cyber Monday, its e commerce version. This is a very special day because it represents a win to win situation between retail sellers and customers. On one hand, customers are able to get special prices for the occasion, as well as unbelievable payment plans. On the other hand, sellers are able to have a sudden spike in sales, greater traffic and are as well able to serve more customers while simultaneously growing their "VIP member lists". However, this represents a major challenge for companies, since getting more stock for this day can bring cash flow problems and other obstacles along the road.
Many people don't know this, but companies have to prepare months ahead for November, December and January since usually, more than half of the yearly sales are done within this time period. The "sales frenzy" usually begins after Halloween takes place, but is highly accelerated after Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The reason why retail companies have to begin to get their stock ready since July or August is because suppliers have bigger lead times, since they are getting more orders than usual and their operating capacity is near 100%. This obviously obligates suppliers to raise the prices for their items, since demand is way above their production capacities. If a company is fortunate enough to be able to start stocking since July, it will be able to get lower prices than its competitors, thus having an advantage during the Holiday Season and the relief of already being prepared for it. Not doing so can result in a loss of a large number of potential sales that could have been made if just the company had had enough inventory to satisfy the demand.
Marrgon was cautious enough to get ready for this season early on, since they had been advised by one of their analyzers about this, so the company didn't hesitate in doing so. Cyber Monday represents the beginning of a very important shopping season, where all the hard work that has been done throughout the year pays off for the companies, as well as for the customers.
