However, it has taken the company a full month prior to letting everyone know what is exactly going on and what people can expect. According to Stunning Gadgets R&D head, there are a couple of improvements in the pipeline for the Pocket Chainsaw which includes unbelievably to make it lighter so that its more portable. This is despite the fact that the device is already one of the lightest ones to carry in the pocket rivaled to perhaps a high-quality Swiss army knife.
"At Stunning Gadgets we are constantly looking at ways to improve the technology behind our products. While the Pocket Chainsaw is still our best selling product we think it's time that it was updated. There are many improvements we have planned for the product. One of the main improvements is going to be using a lighter and more durable material. This will essentially make the gadget more durable, sharper and hence more useful in the wild. The other improvements we have planned is adding more teeth, changing the casing, and even offering multiple color options. Though there are other improvements we are considering on the table, these are by far what we are going for at the moment. Though keep in mind that these improvements will take some time before they make it to our online stores." according to the Research and Development head "Improving upon what is seen as already a perfect product is difficult, but there have always been aspects of the gadget that merited improvements. We also received lots of feedback which has certainly made the decision easier."
Even though the head of Research and Development didn't mention a timeframe for the updated Pocket Chainsaw survival gear, it's safe to assume sometime next year. Stunning Gadgets has a reputation for testing, re-testing, multiple times prior to a product being approved for release into the market. This is unlike other tech companies that try to get the latest and greatest out at any cost. This approach is certainly making the company stand out from all the rest because the products sold do work as advertised without a hitch. This is thanks to hundreds of hours worth of testing that every product is subjected to. That said what many people may be looking forward to is a much more versatile product. Something that the company should address in addition to what is currently being worked on.
