(IT-NEWSWIRE.COM, April 11, 2015 ) Portland, Oregon -- CamKix, an online retailer of photography accessories, is set to launch two comprehensive collections of action camera mounts that will assist videographers with capturing hands free footage.
The first set includes a Head Mount, Hat Clip, and Backpack Mount, compatible with all GoPro Hero models as well as other compact camera brands. All items allow users to attach their cameras to straps or clothing so as to keep their hands free to carry out other actions. "The kit is aimed at outdoor sports enthusiasts such as hikers, rock climbers, and kayakers." said Michael de Bruijn, the Head of Product Development at CamKix, "When doing these activities it is inconvenient, or even dangerous, to be holding a camera or looking at the footage you are taking. The second bundle partners up two well-known mounting accessories, the Head Strap Mount and the Frame Mount. The standard waterproof housing for GoPro Hero is slightly bulky in design and, since it is watertight, does not allow for optimal audio capture. The Frame Mount is a slim, light alternative housing system with specific cut-outs to enable clear sound recording.
