Daniel Boross, founder of Scandi Tech, reveals that he is really happy with all the new improvements to his favorite product. "We have put down a lot of effort to make the instructions even more graphic and easy to follow", he says. The demand was much higher than anticipated and the stock was almost completely out by the beginning of march. However, new stock just reached the warehouse and the production team is working around the clock to meet the demand. A new package is also on the way. The package will be more lightweight but at the same time more protective and reusable. Scandi Tech's new favorite product is, as mentioned, a DIY Battery replacement for iPhone 5. With this kit even someone with minimal technical know-how can replace the battery in an iPhone 5. The battery pack comes with a complete set of tools, clear instructions and of course a new battery for iPhone 5 . The tool kit includes metal tweezers, Philips size PH 00 x 40 screwdriver, plastic opening tool, spudger, suction cup and a Torx 2 (Five-Star) screwdriver. The Battery replacement for iPhone 5 contains everything needed to complete the simple process of replacing the battery. The repair process comes essentially down to unscrewing the two bottom screws found on the bottom side of the iPhone. After that the front needs to be separated from the back assembly by pulling them apart with the suction cup. When a tiny gap is exposed between the two assemblies the spudger is used to separate them further. Finally, the battery is exposed and is held in place with double sided tape and two screws. Once the screws are removed the battery can be pried up with the spudger or opening tool. The new battery fits in the old batteries place and afterwards the process is done backwards to fully complete the battery replacement. A quick reboot of the phone and it's ready to be used. A new battery means better battery capacity, longer battery life and less charging. A battery is usually performs well to about 300-400 "battery cycles". A battery cycle means a full charge, 0 to 100. After 300-400 charges issues like random restarts or fluctuating battery percentage is common.
