Material Handling Robotics Market Opportunities, Challenges and Growth Factors 2023

(IT-NEWSWIRE.COM, February 22, 2018 ) Market Highlights:

Material handling robotics are used to transport objects. By fitting the robot with an appropriate end of arm tool (e.g. gripper), through which the robot can efficiently and accurately move product or object from one location to another.

Technology giants such as ABB (Sweden), Adept Technology(U.S.), Apex Automation and Robotics (Australia), DAIHEN Corporation (Japan), Denso Wave (Japan), Epson Robotics (Japan). ABB is a prominent player in the material handling robotics market offers three levels of dress pack solutions for material handling. The different dress-pack solutions have a number of features in common such as compact solution, common parts, easy to maintain and possible to simulate. High signal capacity incl. support of field buses. The module-based design with the upper arm and lower arm systems has proven successful and user-friendly CAD models, which are available for all dress-pack packages. Adept Technology has designed a material handling robot named Hornet 565, which is a parallel robot used for high-speed picking and packaging applications. Robot powerful controls are fully embedded into the base of the robot, saving valuable floor space and reducing installation costs and complexity. The Hornet 565 features a hygienic design that reduces contamination risks, including a standard IP65 rating and corrosion resistant materials for easy wash down. Epson offers SCARA robot systems to meet assembly and industrial process automation need. The company has designed an only 8kg, the lightest G-series robot that is available with 175mm or 225mm arm with triple-axis model for heavier payloads.
