For example, South Korean vendors who chose the OLED technology are now faced with a unique problem – electric-current-based OLED cannot be replaced by LCD, which is voltage-based. With Samsung’s LCD business slowly witnessing a downslide, it will rank behind other vendors both in terms of revenue and shipment.
