Monster Magnetics announces upgrade to Mini GPS Tracker Magnetic Case and Stash Box

(IT-NEWSWIRE.COM, September 17, 2015 ) Gulfport, MS -- JLM Security Products, a worldwide provider of innovative surveillance and security solutions, announces the release of the Monster Magnetics GPS Tracker Magnetic Case and Stash Box on Canada's Amazon Marketplace platform. "This is a great new product and we're proud to make it available to our friends in Canada via Amazon.ca" said Jeff Monson, owner of JLM Security Products, LLC.

"After much research and development, we have ended up with what we believe to be the very best professional-grade solution to the age-old problem when it comes to covert GPS tracking - preventing end-users from losing their expensive GPS device." Jeff also said, "With every purchase, we include an electronic copy of our Proper Use and GPS Tracker Placement Guide, as we have very specific guidelines and recommendations as to how exactly these GPS cases should be used. This includes instruction on how, exactly, the GPS device should be placed in the case, to where to physically place it on a vehicle. This is all in the interest of gaining as much GPS signal as possible, while installing the case in a location with the least likelihood of loss. Many customers find this a challenge, mainly because there are unlimited choices as far as where to stick it. Customers just need to know what is best. This PDF document gets delivered right to the customer's Amazon messages inbox. That said, we have alleviated the issue by creating a product that has a magnet that is not only 3 times as strong, but 3 times as small as similar products on the market."

To the lay consumer, the product is very simple. It is a small black box that opens and closes with a coffin-type lid, and there is a round steel housing and magnet attached to the bottom. It's the engineering of the product that makes this product stand out. Most all products of this type use the standard ferrite magnet. This is the type of magnet commonly found holding a photo to a refrigerator - black in color. While they may be perfectly acceptable for holding photos on the refrigerator, these types of magnets sometimes have problems when used for mounting on the underside of a vehicle. Rough terrain, pot holes, and speed bumps, or any other sudden impact can cause the magnet to release, along with the user's expensive GPS tracking device. "Even just the large size of these ferrite magnets have caused clients to use just a portion of the magnet, leaving it half-on and half-off the frame of the vehicle, which is a sure way to have it fall off the vehicle" said Jeff.

The case is equipped with what's referred to as the "third generation" of Rare Earth magnets - a mixture of neodymium, iron, and boron (NdFeB), plated with pure nickel (Ni) as a corrosion inhibitor (and it gives the magnet a shiny silver finish). Neodymium magnets tout being the "strongest magnets available commercially" and are, when put side-by-side, much stronger than ferrite magnets of the same size, or even larger. Thus, neodymium magnets can be manufactured much smaller and provide a stronger magnetic pull, thereby lessening the chance of loss. The magnet is 1.125 inches in diameter and 0.25 inches thick, so it provides plenty of options for placement. It allows the user to use the entire magnet just about anywhere under the vehicle.

The product is now available and fulfilled by Amazon Canada. Now Canadian Amazon shoppers can order the product and have it shipped directly to them from an Amazon warehouse in Canada, getting them their delivery in 2-5 days, rather than 1-2 weeks, pending Customs formalities. Amazon Prime members enjoy other benefits as well, such as free or reduced shipping costs.
